CNS Trauma, Neurooncology, and Image-Guided Surgery Course
Course description: This course will provide practical, current didactic information on CNS Trauma, Neurooncology, and image-guided surgery through lecture, interactive case presentations and discussion. Emphasis will be given to radiographic interpretation, classification, management, surgical approaches, and decision-making process.

Learning objectives: After completing this educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the pertinent issues for CNS injuries and Neurooncology.
  • Review the rationale for CNS trauma treatments.
  • Compare indications and clinical outcomes for various management approaches.
  • Evaluate and discuss the best surgical and nonsurgical treatment based on evidence.
  • Develop strategies for complication avoidance and management.
